For over two decades, I traded interest rate derivatives across some of the world's most demanding financial centers: London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Auckland. The work required rapid analysis, creative problem-solving under pressure, and the ability to find clarity in complexity.
In 2022, I made a deliberate shift. I moved to Japan and started building something new: a consultancy that brings that same analytical rigor to help small and medium-sized professional services firms make sense of their data.
I help businesses turn their data challenges into working solutions by:
- Building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines that pull from multiple sources, cleanse inconsistencies, and create usable datasets
- Designing ETL processes that run reliably month after month
- Managing cloud infrastructure (Azure) and microservices architecture with a close eye on cost control
- Creating custom tools that solve specific operational problems

How I Work
My approach is rooted in what I learned on trading floors: understand the problem deeply, find the cleanest solution that works, and keep iterating. Since 2017, I've immersed myself in Python and its data science ecosystem, staying current with emerging tools and frameworks while avoiding unnecessary complexity.
I work remotely from Saitama, Japan, with clients, primarily in New Zealand at present. I'm open to working with English-speaking clients globally, including Japanese companies.

My ideal clients are small to medium-sized professional services firms, whether in financial services or other sectors, who have outgrown spreadsheets but don't need enterprise-scale solutions.
